Accessibility
Accessibility statement
We want every guide to work for everyone, including the interactive demos.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Pages use semantic headings and landmarks, a skip link, visible focus outlines, text alternatives for meaningful images and sufficient colour contrast on our dark theme.
The interactive demos
The split timer and bracket builder are fully keyboard operable with ordinary buttons; the split timer also responds to the Space bar when focused. Results are announced to screen readers through polite live regions, and colour is never the only signal: deltas carry plus and minus signs and bracket results are marked W and L.
Motion
If your device is set to reduce motion, we switch off the scrolling glossary ticker, the animated frame counter and scroll-in effects.
Known limitations
- Wide brackets scroll sideways on small screens; the scroll area is focusable so it can be moved with the keyboard.
- Links to third-party sources may not meet the same standard.
Report a barrier
Email [email protected] describing the page and the problem. We aim to respond within five working days.
